Darkside of the Moon

 

-A few weeks after losing the book, Penance called for some of the women in worry!-

"Verily, I hast sensed that Sufia ist in trouble. But now I know surely: the child was within witch territory, and now is going to the moon. Thus, chase them and bring them back before they canst sacrifice the child!" Yui, Fuwa, Miki and Coconi gasp in surprise, and hurry to fly to the moon!!

The 4 are quickly prepared to fly up to the moon in a huge airship, though they were rushed quietly.. Yui then wonders in a very quiet tone "They're keeping Rei, Violet and Tommy out of this. Everyone's souls are aligned to keep them away from this mission..", "I wonder how come?" Miki quietly asks, "Maybe it's because they're more... impulsive." Fuwa answers telepathically "I have no idea what will happen up on the moon, but only Penance Sama has a inkling of what can happen during and outside of fighting. He might want this to be strictly to be a search and Rescue mission, like with Brew..". The other ladies realized and agreed with her, as they calmly get on the airship...

They left in 30 minutes, Rei though, realized something was up upon seeing the airship leaving.. "Where is that going?" she wonders aloud, "Penance Sama sent them to on a random escort mission." a random worker lied "I guess we need extra cash? Hahaha!". " Oh what? Makes sense though.." Rei replies, he laughs again and leaves. She herself merely goes back to do her training. Meanwhile...

The Airship reaches 600ft in the air: the captain of the ship then says "Penance Sama is warning that this is far enough!", the ladies turn away from one of the huge windows. "We..have to go alone from here?! " Fuwa deduces, "Yes, this needs to be a surprise attack. If we all go, we'll be felt and seen. But if you go from here, 4 people will be very hard to detect among everybody else up here." the ship captain explains. "How are we going to breath up there?!" Coconi wonders, "I guess I can go full support. As for flying, ....I can get us there too, but you girls will have to protect me, or we'll all fall." Fuwa suggests with unsureness in her voice. "Um, maybe I could help too?" Yui suggests, "My soul lets me fly ever since I learned Soul Heart!" she exposes her fairy wing soul! The Captain then assures the group "Penance Sama was in such a hurry that he didn't explain: whatever the witches have done has ruined the moon to a specific point. It's actually within earth's troposphere and is close enough to reach from here.", they all look somewhat surprised "Then, Yui can carry one, and Fuwa can carry another." Miki forms the plan. "Why not transform? Nobody here ever does even though that would've helped much more a lot of times." another pilot asks, Fuwa looks at him as she explains "It's like a more intense version of Soul Heart, if we mess up while circulating energy: we die immediately. Meanwhile using S.H. normally is dangerous but we can use it as long as we want, transformation might render us temporarily immortal, but we'd end up killing ourselves instead.". "Damn.. it always looked impressive, didn't know all of the powers from Penance Sama were so dangerous." the Captain replies, Yui almost retorts to defend the deity, when Fuwa says "Yeah, but we can balance that power. Like now, let's get to the top of the ship.". The captain leads them on top, as Yui questioned alot of what she learned, but avoided doubt and more so realizing just how much danger they're in...then sighs " I.... I'm being dumb, we all knew this, Penance Sama warned us from the beginning.." she thought. Yui then uses "Soul Heart!" and her soul grows "Alright, let's go Miki!" she says, "Um... actually I'll go with Fuwa: My boomerangs actually benefit from her powers.." the lady reveals. "Oh awesome! Then let's go Coconi!" the beach-blonde cheers, and the raven haired woman jumps in her arms! "We could come up with a combo attack too then!" she suggests hopefully. Fuwa then says "Let's go, we have to hurry before the others find out!". The 4 fly to the moon!

"This is easy?" Yui exclaims with surprise, "Yeah, we're not trying to kill anybody so I guess our bodies and souls can handle this easily now!" Fuwa says, even seemingly not even concentrating anymore to carry Miki. "Yes, it feels calm up here too.. I thought it would be scary!" Miki herself laughs "It's actually pretty up here!". " Yeah... I'm scared still though!" Coconi says while holding Yui tightly while closing her eyes, then looks away from her "But it IS pretty way up here....". Yui smiles at Fuwa, then all 4 notice the moon: it looks MUCH more huge now.. all of them stop smiling and talking: merely sensing the army awaiting them "There's a manipulator watching us, he's been trying to confuse us since we got within his powers' range." Fuwa telepathically says, "Ah..yeah, I felt him from the top of the ship..." Yui thinks back.. "Then your perception and resonance saved us." Miki thought, "Do we act as if it's working?" Coconi asks telepathically. "We don't have to, we'll go up there in a second.." Fuwa replies, then asks "Miki, drop a boomerang, please?". Miki drops one and Fuwa telekinetically launches it up to chop off the awaiting demon's head, then warps everyone on the surface while the utter shock and awe settled in on their enemies. "GO!" Fuwa says telepathically, as she speeds up her friends with her psi poswers! Yui unintentionally severed a demon's arm, meanwhile Miki killed several with the speed she threw Fuwa launched the other boomerang! "She sped us up!" he pink-haired lady thought aloud, then the 3 girls proceeded to destroy the flustered army which was unable to realize how they were ambushed thanks to Fuwa's plan. Until one crawled from the black blood of the demon they killed first "You fools!" he shouted, which caught the attention of the ladies and his brethren. "You dare stop the rising of the demon hero!? I, Nocturne have never seen such insolence! We can't interact with this world without a host, and the witches and their families, were very much accommodating! You've no right!" he accused, Yui looks at the destruction: horns, fangs and black eyes aside: one can tell the army was of possessed humans--witches. She hated having hurt them now that she could see what they've did, but Coconi retorts and gets her attention: "You were going to sacrifice a innocent child!", "Yeah, and exactly what were you going to do if you were successful!? " Fuwa adds. Nocturne angrily glares at them: he knew they weren't listening and so shouts "You're allowed to live as you want, but not us? You'll die like your leader!" and he jumps at the group, the ladies move away before he lands and surround him!!

But Nocturne was formidable, he easily beat them as he was far too fast, even with Fuwa supporting her friends! He then spits poison into Fuwa face: she barely blocks it, and so is desperately trying to make sure she can open her eyes again. Nocturne nearly jumps at her, as the others chased him: while Miki threw a boomerang as hard as she could! Then a loud scream got their attention! Sufia crawled out of one of the many moon craters and coughed up blood! "Sufia!!" Yui calls and flies to the child: who started to unfold into a large black lump!! "We finished the ritual!" a surviving witch cheered, the ladies look at her as she revealed "665 sacrifices, with child serving as the plus/final one for our Dark lord: .u...fe.." she subcums to her injuries before she could finish...and the ashura crawled out of Sufia's black blood, which bubbled from every pore of the child.."You you girls followed me all the way up here?!" he asked, "We had no idea you were hiding here or we would've destroyed you from the surface!" Fuwa replied, "You have your own body, why did you use a orphan?!" Miki asks "You're not like the other demons here!". "I haven't had understanding in centuries." Eoghan replied "So I can tell you what the witches realized: my body was destroyed by Penance, and while my power is eternal as compared to other Asura: my body can barely move as it once did. With this child I can be reborn: Asura are not demons, and demons are nothing like Asuras. And there's no one like me.". "Then leave Sufia! How would a child help you if you're so eternal!?" Yui tries to convince him to leave the child's body. But the Asura guffaws "Aw, I'm not as stupid as I apparently look! I know this child was used as a war machine! The body's mine, and you... won't be able to fight now, right?". Eoghan suddenly zoomed to Yui, but Fuwa fires "PK Beam!!!". It stops him for a moment, and Yui leaps away before he could disperse the beam/punch another crater in the moon!!! Coconi runs to Yui "We have to fight him! Don't let his using Sufia stop you! We could probably break him out of them!" she says to Yui, "He absorbed Sufia too, there's no way we could actually hurt Sufia now!" Miki adds trying to get Yui to try to fight! "O,o,ok..." the beach-blonde replied after sensing Sufia deep in the giant Asura.. then rushes to him! He easily flipped over her, and shot blood all over Fuwa, then dove at Coconi! The impact of his slamming the surface causes a implosion, that knocks boulders everywhere! Coconi is knocked far way from being so close to the sudden attack, and the Ashura ties up Miki with a ribbon made of his skin! Yui sighs and prayed as she rushed him! This angers Asura and he jumps directly over her and punched hard enough to knock another crater into the moon!

"YUI!!!!?" Fuwa calls as Coconi runs to her to help clean the black blood off her face.  "You screwed up!" Asura laughed, but feels his bandage snap, and turns around and finds Yui cutting his skin off of Miki! Her wing shaped soul vanishes away once she stops: proving she got away at the very, very last moment by using Soul Heart! "You're all smart, but what's the reason? If I die, Sufia does. If you fail and die here, you traumatize everybody, even your god. Leave and you can spend the rest of your lives normally.".

The Asura smirks as the ladies only prepare to attack again, but he easily out maneuvered them and they all know if they overuse their powers: their mortal bodies will break....
