Professor Franken

 

As of late: people have turned up missing quite alot; so Penance sends out 3 of his.. fiercest girls: Rei, Fuwa, and Tommy!

"Girls..." Penance says "There ist a cry from the darkest time of midnight, the stars slowly stops shining, and darkness obscures the eyes of everyone in Nottinghamshire during this crime. Find the children who art taken away, and return them.". "Yes, Penance Sama." the women all recite..

Later, they calmly scour the streets as they spoke to eachother: "He talks so weird, I'm actually surprised when we cam hold a conversation with him!" Fuwa laughs, "Yeah, he's really... he can be pompous sounding sometimes." Rei replies. "Penance Sama is just like a normal guy with super powers; of course he'll be awkward a lot of the time!" Tommy laughs. The women all snicker some, until they see their destination!

In the heart of Nottinghamshire, a mysterious laboratory stood hidden behind thick iron gates: where Dr. Franken Malachite, a brilliant but tormented scientist, toiled away in secrecy. His obsession with unlocking the secrets of the universe had caused him to need sacrifices to continue. So his experiments blurred the line between science and pure unadulterated evil, and rumors whispered that he sought immortality itself.

"So this is him, all we have to do is find the kids, and beat him up probably.." Fuwa says, "We should be careful though, it feels like we walked into a trap!" Violet warned.. "Don't worry, it's probably a overweight, old man who only got a few kids because he had a bunch of robots help him. We got this!" Rei assures..  The air crackled with energy and the door's pushed open from the inside. Bubbling flasks, arcane symbols etched into stone walls, and a massive, pulsating machine (seemingly made of flesh) at the center—a gateway to realms unknown can be seen from the entrance!!

Dr. Malachite emerged from the shadows, his eyes wild and white hair disheveled. “Well,well, unsuspecting guests,” he sneered. “You’ve stumbled upon my life’s work—the Nexus Engine. With it, I shall transcend mortality and reshape reality itself!”

The women exchanged determined glances. Fuwa's hands glowed with psychic light and Rei's hands caught fire, as Violet says "Not before we reshape your nose!", " WHAT?" Rei nearly laughs. Fuwa then reminds them "Be serious: while we can take him, there's victims that need saving."

“Dr. Malachite,” Rei now says, her voice with anger, “Where's the children? We'll go easy on you if you at least tell us that.”

The mad scientist laughed maniacally. “You?? You’re nothing compared to the Nexus Engine! I don't have to tell you anything!”

"Then it's not my fault: you're begging for it!" Rei replies. Fuwa's protects her friends with a psychic shield, as Rei hurled flames at the machinery, causing sparks to fly from the damaged thing!

But the thing whirred to life despite this destruction, reality itself trembled. Portals opened revealing other dimensions—a chaotic blend of magic and science. Dr. Malachite ran into one, his form distorting as he drained the cosmic energies.

The women followed him into the portal and pursued Dr. Malachite through realms of clockwork cities, ethereal forests, and crystalline oceans.

Finally, they cornered him in the Nexus Core—a place where all afterlifes converged. Dr. Malachite glowed with otherworldly energy, his sanity slipping away. “I am eternal!” he screamed happily!

But Violet stepped forward, and aims her rod at him. “Eternity isn’t found in power,” she said “in fact: the only thing you found is a eternal beating!.”. "That's better!" Rei says with a sarcastic smirk!

She then encased Dr. Malachite in flames, he screamed in horrific agony. “Also...” she added, “..the afterlife is controlled by gods: who said you could have any of this power?!”

Fuwa read his mind, and learned where the kids were: "Come on, I remember how to get back." she tells the others,  Franken suddenly shouted while burning but having lost the ability to move “What have I become?”

Together, the women then left through the portal Fuwa opened, while the Nexus Engine shattered, collapsing the portals it made. Dr. Malachite’s form dissipated, leaving behind a broken, burned man.

They enter the lab quickly, and start to search the lab. Violet then sees a cage full of pale kids.. "H,hehehey!" she calls out, Fuwa and Rei immediately ran to her, with the former opening them up with telekinesis, and carrying several with it. "I can't get them all!" she warns her friends, "We may not have to: if they were powering the machine, a bunch of them may already be de.." Rei starts, "Wait! Um... let's.. let's just get all the ones that respond.." Violet says nervously. But as they started to lift some up in their arms, they heard a voice behind them "Let me help...." Malachite says in monotone, the women quickly turn around to see his body: it's healed but looks normal.. no muscles, no powers, nothing...except his lab coat and now even shorter white hair.. "Haven't had enough, have you?" Rei warns as she holds up her hands, "Stay back!" Violet uses her body to shield the children... but Fuwa glares as she reveals: "No... he's telling the truth? He wants redemption..", she then telepathically says "Let's let him help, if he tries anything: we can kill him on the spot, he has no leverage at all now.". The women and doctor get the kids out of the lab before it implodes...

A day later, Fuwa watches tv: "Most of the kids were brought back by the nuns of Vengeance temple: eyewitnesses say that they not only found the children, but seem to've reformed the kidnapper as well. Though, no one knows where the man is now." the reporter reads. Fuwa sighs as she continues to watch "Yui is a our ace at Soul Perception, but even she couldn't tell when this was happening... maybe we shouldn't of focused all of our powers on physical attributes like, defense, offense and speed?". "Nuns!? I can't believe people still think we're old ladies!" Rei somewhat jokes as she walks in the room, surprising Fuwa some: she believed she was alone in the rec room. "Yeah.. to be honest though, we're serving a deity in a temple: you don't need to be old to do that.." Fuwa replies with a smile. "Yeah, we're not old! In fact: we're not like nuns at all: 'cause we're not just sitting around and mumbling all day!" Rei replies with a laugh. She then stops walking by.... and asks "Did you see Violet at all after everything?" without turning towards her... "No... last I saw her was when we were trying to get the kids to eat and drink. I haven't seen her since yesterday, not even in the infirmary.". "W, would you see if she's anywhere here?" Rei asks, "Fuwa read the temple--everyone's minds... then replies " She must be out visiting her family..". Rei looks at her saying "Thanks..", then left...

After this Fuwa went to the dungeon under the temple, and visited the smoldering Franken Malachite, to see if he actually survived or is just a animated lump of ash by now
