Brew Wave

 

One day Penance called together all the women, excluding his Concubines, unlike every other mission before: he seemed alarmed.. so the girls were tense at what their deity was going to say: "Verily, there ist a book in the Artic." he said trying to hide the alarm in his tone "Thou must find and bring it here, it is very important unto us and this world. Thus, if the enemy gets it, we shalt have to fight harder to keep destruction of the earth away. Thou must find it, even if thou must flee from thine enemies, run back to me and do NOT let the enemy take it at all. But becareful, for this part of Antarctica is covered in a storm that shalt tear thee down unto the fibers of they being." All of them had looks of wonder or frowns at the sound of this: none of this sounded normal at all, even with their way of life it's just seek and kill... "Due to this: you shall go in, while Fraken and Thora stay out, they shall snatch you out if do not leave within 30 minutes. If thy cannot get the book, then just return at very least.". Yui almost spoke, but Rei assures him "No worries, we got this!". "I pray that thou do, and return unharmed." Penance replies, and the girls are sent out on ships.. .

The trip seemed like a cruise: the S.S. Judgement casually made it's way to Antarctica with no trouble, until it hit a blizzard! Unfortunately the crew continued forwards as this was the sign that they were close to the book. "I see Antartica! Land ho!" Yui jokes a little, Tommy sighs as they get closer "The wind's cutting straight through these goddamn coats..". Rei then assured as she comes beside the two on the bow of the ship "Don't worry, we'll find it in no time at all!" ...they could feel a warmth coming from her, Yui then realizes "You, you're hot?". Rei blushes hard and turns away "Wh, whaaaa? The hell are y.." she started, but Tommy explains as she walks closer to her "Wait, I forgot fire was your thing.. you're going to keep us warm?" she asks with a little hope in her tone. "No.. well I can, but only when we're together: if we have a fight there's no guarantee that I'd be able to keep this up stably.." Rei reveals in serious but shy tone.. Yui giggles "Thanks! If we hafta fight, then it would be OK by then 'cause we'd be moving alot!", Rei smacks her own face as the others watches the ship get closer: she never imagined getting THIS flustered when they realized what she was doing then..

Upon getting to the Antarctic: Franken says: "Alright, everybody: let's go over the plan one more time.", the women line up as he reminds them "You go in, find the book, and get out. If you can't find it: get out. If you have to fight: get out. Me and Thora will come for you in 25 minutes, so you have only 20 minutes to search. If you're worried about the danger of anyone else finding the book, we can retry after our bodies heal. But we can't stay inside for longer than that.". "Yes sir. " Miki replies, "This'll be easy!" Rei said. "I hope so... it's bad enough that the blizzard and book are dangerous by theirselves: but if the enemy is here already then we're in real trouble!" Thora reminds the group. "As soon as we're close enough, I'll probably locate it!" Fuwa assures. Franken then says with new confidence his tone "Alright, then start now! I'm setting the timer.", the women all went further onto the island: passing through a electromagnetic field, combined with the blizzard's snow...

 Inside, it's a barren snowy landscape.. Fuwa though immediately turns in a direction "I ...think I see it, it's the only thing made of paper here!" she alerts her friends. "It's there, right?" Rei says "Then let's go!". Most of the women follow her (instead) as she's emitting a now somewhat visible fire field around her, the warmth makes it feel as if it were late spring or late summer near her. Fuwa then says "I can do that too, in case Rei needs some room?", Yui slows down and walk beside her, as does Tommy and Coconi.. "Yeah, we'd probably all trip over each other if something came up!" the beach blonde laughs, "We probably look weird too..." Coconi adds. Fuwa then reminds them: "Also, I know the book's exact location: she's going in the general direction, but I can technically `see` it from here.". Meanwhile, Miki commented on their surroundings: which had ruins and technology fading in and out of physical existence: "There used to be a civilization here it seems: if the book is causing this storm, then it must be because it's trying to bring the past within this present. This is probably why no one living should stay here, and why we don't see any artic life around this area.", the others look around in some surprise.. Rei then looks over her shoulder just now realizing Yui and Coconi weren't there "What's up? You like being cold?" she jokes, "Don't be shy: Rei can expand her field more if you were tripping over each other's feet!" Violet says.. Rei looks away upon her saying this.. Then suddenly a loud screen echoed through the area, which causes a huge avalanche!!! The girls all run in different directions, while snow and boulders covered the area and separates the groups!

 ...Yui then rolls around in the snow, then wakes up and sees Fuwa and Coconi covered with it too! "He,hey,come on!" she says in slight fear as she gets up, the two other ladies slowly got up in some pain.. "Geez.. what happened? You ok Yui?" Coconi asks in pain, "...where did that screech come from?" Fuwa groans in pain: they suddenly hear a "HEEEEHEEEEEEEEHEEEHAHAAAAAA!" again, they turn around to see where the screeching laugh came from..A monstrous man-shaped tick, emerged from the snow, its eyes glowing with a malevolent hunger and glee!

The three stand up quickly. Yui calming herself before they get to their feet... "Hey, he has the book!" Fuwa reveals as she points to his thick, angler and tough hands. "Um...um... excuse me, sir!" Yui starts, the man's smile disappears as he looks up from the book with a ugly, gnarled up glare..but snapped his face back to a smile: "What are you little children doing here?" he asked. "We need that book, would you please give it to us?" Fuwa asks, trying to keep from being annoyed (by the obvious insanity that's happening).. "No, I won't, young lady." the tick-man replied "Though, I was overjoyed to find it. That's why I laughed so happily, sorry about making the trip here harder, and pointless.". "Pleeeeeeeaaaaase? It's important!" Yui tries to explain, "Why do you want it?" Fuwa asks in a serious tone. "My mistress: Arachnia, wants it." he revealed "I haven't had to work for her in centuries, but I eventually missed the lady after lowering my standards and working for mere humans. And so I will never let go of this book, until she has it in her strong and beautiful arms!". "You're with the witch?" Fuwa asks in anger, "They're already here!" Coconi says ready to attack "Give us the book!". ".. You're the weak whores she spoke about!?" the tick-man asked, then puts the book in his coat pocket and says in a far darker tone and deeper voice, regaining his gnarled up face "I'm giving nothing to you, in fact; I'll murder you all by myself. Arachnia was weak in that state. She literally just woke up from her beauty nap, so she was in no condition to be attacked, but you tried to kill her! You will pay, all of you will die today!"...he steps forward and his full size is now seen clearly!

When the tick stood atop a frozen hill, its massive form casted a shadow that seemed to swallow the light. He stood at 6ft tall and had a white pointy mustache, and green cat eyes... Yui stares at his muscular yet densely fat body: "How come you're like that?" she asks, Fuwa snickers, while Coconi whines "Yuuu-uuiii, you can't make fun of someone's body!". Yui honestly explains: "But his arms are buffed even though they got the `wings` under them, and how does he have a triangle torso, but love handles and the bottom of his stomach go past his thighs.. It's like he's barely held toge...", "SHUT UP!!! I was a heartthrob, a lady killah! Women lusted after my body 90 years ago!!! Damn you bitches!!" the tick-man shouted "You'll die by my hands, for I'm: Tickto!". "That's his real name????" Coconi wonders, but didn't for long as he jumped at the women immediately! They leaped away, and tried attacking while he wasn't looking: When Tickto came at Yui, Fuwa and Coconi both attacked! When he noticed and swung his huge arms at them, Yui tried to punch his spine in. Tickto was able to move away quickly, constantly being on the defensive, and when ever a girl thought he was offguard, it was revealed he seemed to know where they were at all times! "Girls..look!" Fuwa telepathically says, we need to attack all at the same time. Not the exact same moment though, but immediately after the other: follow my lead!". She shoots a psybeam! Tickto blocks it with his arms, Coconi leaps over him to cut off both of his arms, he caught the beam with his huge but floppy chest, and reached to smash the small woman in his huge bleeding stubs, but Yui stabs his foot! Tickto shouted in anger and spun: knocking both women away, the beam is bounced away by his flapping chest and he charged at Coconi, who's ready to do a doubleaxe handle! Fuwa tries to make him implode with her psi, but he suddenly charged to her faster than he ever moved in the battle!!! She started to run away as he screamed "I'm thousands of years old: WHY DO YOU THINK I DON'T HAVE A COUNTER FOR ALL OF YOUR USELESS, WEAK CRAP!!!?", he then angrily jumped at her! Coconi uses "Soul Heart!!" to fly to him, as Yui does too and upper cuts him! Tickto took the full hit, but grabbed her arm with his regrowing hand and slammed her down, cracking the ice under the soft snow! "GAAH!" she gasps in pain! "Dangit!!! PK FIRE!!!" Fuwa yells and a beam of flames engulfs him!!! The ladies awe at the bonfire for a moment, but he waved it away, and went of the attack via violently swinging at them!!

The tick-man was relentless: he had fed on the magic and blood of countless people for millennia, and his carapace was thick with the layers of power it had absorbed. One by one, the women started to realized some of their abilities wouldn't activate! "I... I don't think we can transform!" Yui realizes, "What do ..why not!???" Fuwa asks. "Something's extremely wrong, we should've made SOME progress, but ...I feel kinda tired already..." the beach-blonde explains.. "Wait a minute... Ah!" the brunette replies as she looks at her and Coconi: "Our Mana! He drained it!! He must have a magic-eater emitting from him as part of his body..". "That might be why he looks so strange... or is it just because he's a monster?" Coconi asks. "It's because he's a monster.. some normal criminals can do this, but Penance Sama never really said they were threats, ...though it might just be because no one lived that long and so they couldn't perfect it like this freak!" Fuwa explains. "Then we HAVE TO use Soul Heart" Yui says, but the Psychic informed her "Wait, lets use it as a last resort: if we synch up with my telepathy, we can probably take him without any problem! Use resonance first!". Yui then stands erect... suddenly she doesn't feel tired as she tries "Heart Resonance! ", Fuwa then shares her view as she uses "PK Ice!" and tried freezing Tickto! But he easily breaks out, only to be cut up by Coconi! He quickly turns around with his needle fangs to bite her as she lands, but Yui punched his shins, then spine: knocking him down in 2-4 blows! "Sorry!!" she apologizes and back clips away, but a explosion suddenly erupted from his body!!! The ladies back up as he turns into a muscular human man shaped, with his fat gone, his eyes are now orange human looking ..but no iris in them... "This is my form from 90years ago. You can't do anything to me now!!" Tickto says and charged them and sonic speed!!! The ladies tried to block but he easily threw and kicked them around, Fuwa saw openings: but he was moving to fast to react to these... She started to up her mind......open her senses and he seemed to move at normal speeds to her, but before she shot a well timed beam: he zoomed to and over Fuwa, preparing to bite into her!!

Her breaths are shallow and her vision fading, ..Yui is getting up slowly in pain, and Coconi is trying to climb out of the mound of snow she was thrown under.. it seemed as if he would sink his teeth into the psychic.....when everybody hears "DEIMOS!!!!" and a fireball busts the avalanche, revealing Rei and the others! The sight of their friends' blood staining the snow and Tickto's hands hovering above a hurt Fuwa angered them, and they all attack once! Coconi hears their familiar voices: "...they have to pla..." she almost thought, but realized: Fuwa had already immediately forwarded their info to their friends' minds. So when she climbed out, she also saw: Rei burning Tickto! The Tick turned towards her, but Violet electrocuted him terribly, he can barely move when Miki throws her boomerang and sliced off his arms!..he immediately grows them back, excess blood sprays from this forced change and he tries molting to get faster too, but Tommy cracks his shell, and used "Soul Heart!!!" to electrocute him again in anger!!!  The tick-man suddenly shouted in anger and forcibly changed again "DAMN YOU ALL! THIS IS MY BODY FROM 600 YEARS AGO!!!!!" , the blood covered tick-man has dark red skin, orange-yellow cat eyes and slim muscles! "Your bloods' all mine, period!" he shouted in anger, but something surprises both sides: the women start to phase into static! "Wuh oh..." Violet says as she looks at her arm: it fades, then reappears. "It's already been 25 minutes??!!" Rei asks, "N,no... hurry get him! He has the book!" Fuwa warns them! Rei starts shooting rapid fire: "DEIMOS, PHOBOS, 4EVER!" she yells and a storm of fire consumes him! "The book!" Violet yells, "It's distorting everything: it would've been warped by now if elements could screw with it!" Rei reveals to her. But the flames are dispersed!!! "YOU FOOLS! PEOPLE ALWAYS TRIED TO BURN UP MONSTERS!!!! YOU THINK I WOULDN'T FIND A WAY AGAINST THAT??!" Tickto laughed, then transforms yet again "This is my body from 1000 years ago!" he proudly says in his familiar yet slightly younger body, he looked human and as if he's in his 90s. The man smirked as Franken and Thora's blood can be smelled in the air, "More victims: delicious!" he almost cheered! "W..we have to go!" Fuwa says as she stood up, "But we're all together!" Rei says in anger. Coconi and Yui near them as Fuwa retorts "But if we don't go now we're not making it back before we're phased away!" Fuwa warns. "Heheheh, you should listen!" Tickto laughed at her, then calmly walks away, even taking the book out of his pocket to carry it in their sight while he leaves! "He's messin' with... we can just get it! You can get it!!! We can.." Rei started in anger, "No! He'll just come for it, and he almost has infinite time here compared to us, let's go!!" Fuwa retorted again, then she and the others go... only Rei glares down the laughing Tick... Tommy turns back around and watches "We'll get him.." she tried to assure her, Rei turns towards Tommy and noticed her upper half quickly turned to static, and so follows her back to the others. Then meet the others

The group left the field and their bodies started to become solid once again, the black haired woman nearly goes back inside the electromagnetic field as soon as she does, but Thora reminds her: "You can't, we need a hour or so before going back in. Whatever happened, we have to bide it right now..". Rei grimaced in anger and stomps back up on the ship...

They give the report to Penance, who seems more so angered that Tickto is still alive than at their failure..

-While most of the soldiers feel bad in general, Yui, Rei and Coconi could sense that Penance changed his attention to avoid his disappointment in them...-
