EXCALIBUR

 

One bright beautiful day, Violet sits inside their temple's dusty and somewhat dark library: she sighs as she flips through a book on blades, until Rei walks by and notices what she's reading. "You're going to learn the sword?" she asks. Violet looks up "No.. I just.. there has to be someway to increase our powers." she explains "Penance-Sama doesn't let us use Soul Heart nearly as much as other deities let their girls..I.. I just don't wanna be left behind..". "We're not, we can't be!" Rei replies "We're at the first temple that teaches it: and we're going to show everybody theirs' are BS!". "Okay, okay..." Violette says back with some annoyance "But in a 7 on 7 fight: wouldn't the team of all swords and using their full powers have a advantage over the group with a bunch of random abilities and maybe some weapons that can kill a guy, and maybe not?" . "Look, we have it! I'm good with a sword, and Yui.. even though I hate to admit it, is pretty strong too. Don't underestimate us!" Rei confidently assured her. "Alright, maybe I shouldn't worry so much.." Violette replies as she looks back at the book: then noticed the page she flipped on before Rei got her attention: "Whoa... Excalibur would've been what we're looking for!" she jokes. "Hey wait, those powers!" Rei says as looks over her shoulder.. "W,w,w,we should get it! I mean.." ..she looks away "Just to prove how powerful we are! We won't need it though!". "Uh huh.. then let's go!" Violette laughed, and the women sent in their leave-reports (explaining why they're going) and leave!

 Violet and Rei set out on a quest to find the legendary magic sword that was said to grant its wielder great power. It was in a place called: the Enchanted Forest, someplace a few miles away from the temple!(?) "I can't believe we actually live near THE Excalibur!" Rei exclaims "Like it's fictional.. but then again: we're like battle nuns, so I guess maybe all of the other fairy tails are real!". "I wonder what else we can find then?" Violette laughs, "Anything could be real: we probably only need to find another old book to find a dragon, or slepnir!" . "I doubt that... I mean we actually serve a god, and know about some of the others: I haven't heard of a Odin, Apollo or anybody else!" Rei laughs, "True... I guess that's why it's called mythology!" Violette agrees.

As they journeyed deeper into the forest, they encountered magical beings such as fairies, talking animals, and enchanted spirits who offered guidance. With each encounter, Violet and Rei grew more excited to reach their goal.

Finally: Violet and Rei reached the heart of the Enchanted Forest, where the magic sword was said to be hidden. "Finally.." Rei thought aloud, "I was thinking those fairies and and other creatures were screwing with us.". "Fairy people ARE tricksters.." Violet laughs "..which makes me wonder why they were so helpful to us?". "Maybe this isn't even Excalibur?" her friend jokes as they approached the ancient tree where the sword rested. Rei then grabs the hilt.. "Why is it so heavy? Like there's gravity actually pulling me even though I haven't even pulled yet!" she asked in surprise, Violet replied "Maybe it's a protection thing, or maybe this IS a fake sword????". Rei snatched but her arm suddenly jerks down, she lets go in pain and falls backwards! "Dammit!" she growls as she held her arm. "W,what the heck???" Violet wonders and pulls the blade, but it doesn't move..."No wonder they showed us EXACTLY where it was: we can't get it anyway!" she realized in anger, then uses: "SOUL HEART!" and her diamond shaped soul glows over them as she holds the handle tightly and snatched, but felt extremly faint and fell back! "Ouch! WHY?! It's like something pulled it from the blade!" she reveals to Rei!..who then jumped up and shouts "Damn this thing!". She then used "SOUL HEART!" too and her Flame Soul flares up, heating up the area around her! Violet sweats as she watches Rei grab the handle and blade, then pull! But now the gravity is very visible (which look like purple and black strings) and throws her into the dirt! "D,d,did you push me!?" she accused Violet, "No!! It's the sword!!" she insists strongly. They both look at the blade, then just now noticed a brunette standing before them.. she pulled the magic sword and held it up.. the women watched the child hold it horizontaly with both hands and offers the blade to them gently.. "Who are you????" Violet asks, the girl fades into light, dropping the sword into the dirt. Rei jumped to her feet "She coulda poked my head with that!" she semijokes, Violet stands next to her and grabs the blade "She was giving it to us?" she asks. "We sucked so bad: some ...magic kid had to help us?" Rei sighs in anger "At least we got it!". "Yeah, let's hurry back before something else happens. " Violet suggests.

With the magic sword in their possession, Violet and Rei returned triumphantly to Nottingham, "I wonder what Yui would say? She probably think we're playing a joke on her!" Violet giggles, "Don't show Yui; she'll probably tell everybody, one thing could lead to another and they might find out we couldn't actually pull it up!" Rei warned her. "Wait, we didn't have to transform though!" Violet reminds her, the dark-haired woman slumps over as she sighs heavily "We shouldn't have to transform to pull up a stupid sword, I don't care how legendary it's supposed to be...".

As soon as she finishes saying this: they notice Yui and another lady walking up the hallway! "Hey girls!" Yui calls out, "Why did you have to go? Everything okay?" the other asks.. "Yeah, false alarm!" Violet lies with a smile, "Yeah, nothing happened." Rei does too.... "Cool, we hadda 'nough craziness!" Yui laughs, "Oh hey, you even bought a new sword too?" the other asks upon noticing the sword!!! Rei quickly glares at Violet, who's blatantly holding it at her side were everyone can see it! "Um yeah, to celebrate!" Violet lies again, "Yeah, she bought me a sword, since she doesn't use one, Coconi!" Rei says through her gritted teeth and takes it from Violet! "Aw, we coulda been sword sisters!" Yui laughs as they pass by, "Yui... that sounds worse than `scissor sisters` geez..." Coconi says in a disgusted tone as they leave. Rei looks at Violet again saying: "I guess I'll hide it." she says...

No one knows the two found the legendary blade and are trying to learn how to use it almost everyday since they took it...or was given it..
